I love how Taylor’s tours are all so completely in sync with the place she seems to be at in her life.
Fearless was brave, and raw, and curious.
Speak Now was pure magic, a wild combination of romance and heartbreak and all the intense emotions that come along with both and all of this gorgeous, epic imagery.
Red was darker, and heartfelt in a deeper way. Tragic but often with a band-aid over it, masking the heartbreak beneath.
1989 is a giant party, celebrating friendship and being unique and individual and loving yourself.I think that says so much about who she is as an artist – she is so honest with herself and her fans. Seeing her on stage is seeing her in her perfect element and every detail, from song order, to the sets, to the choreography, to the costumes, to the lights…it is all there for a reason. The whole thing tells an exquisite story and allows us to step inside of her life for those incredible two hours.
